Filippo has over 6 years experience in smart infrastructure, connected car services, tolling and RUC services, connected insurance, and emergency services. He has advised clients including Abertis Mobility Services, Advent International, Bain Capital, Emovis, the European Commission, Intrado, Neology, Sumitomo, Skytoll, Telepass, Wejo and Zego.

Recent assignments include:

  • Supporting a leading ITS provider in defining its expansion, partnership, M&A strategy and value proposition across Europe, the USA and Asia for tolling and enforcement
  • Analysing the European and North American tolling and enforcement markets for a US-based ITS solutions provider to support its growth strateg
  • Assisting a major tolling service provider with the assessment of market entry into a new European country
  • Leading an in-depth analysis of the Italian electronic tolling market for a private equity fund
  • Defining market entry strategies in Europe and Asia for a US telecom solutions provider, with a focus on data privacy regulation
  • Conducting, for the European Commission, an impact analysis of Advanced Mobile Location (AML) for emergency services (E112)
  • Delivering a comparative techno-economic assessment of DSRC, ANPR and GNSS tolling technologies for a major market stakeholder

Filippo also contributed to the Vehicle Data Market Global Study, assessing the global car data hub landscape. He built a global database of connected car services across 10 OEMs in Europe, the USA and Asia, and led the development of our latest Electronic Tolling Europe Study.

Filippo is a native speaker in Italian, fluent in English and intermediate in French and holds an MSc in Management from ESCP Business School and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Turin.
