Telematics Technology Providers (TTPs) very simply are manufacturers of telematics devices that can be used for the monitoring, reporting and data-logging of a vehicle, and supply amongst others, Telematics Service Providers.

The application of such technical capabilities are incredibly varied, and can include:

• Electronic toll collection;
• Usage-based insurance;
• Engine management;
• Driver management.
