Vijayendra is a Senior Research Analyst in PTOLEMUS, expert in the Connected Fleet Services vertical. He was instrumental in the construction of the Commercial Fleet Telematics Global study report. He was working on the value chain analysis, TSPs and OEMs telematics strategy, regional analysis, Covid-19 impact on both on-road and off-road sections of the report. Vijay is also a specialist on the Electric Vehicles research vertical of PTOLEMUS.

In addition, Vijay has also worked on several consulting assignments in electronic tolling, mobility and connected fleet services that include:
 
1.    Analysing Norwegian mobility markets for a leading Toll service provider in Europe
2.    Conducting commercial due diligence of leading Toll solution provider, Transcore in US for acquisition by Singapore Technologies Engineering.

Vijay holds a Masters degree in MSc International Marketing and Business Development from Skema Business School, Paris and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from India. To fuel his passion in the automotive domain, he wrote his master thesis on the ‘Consumer perception of Electric Vehicles in India’.
 
After his masters in France, he worked for a leading market research company Kantar TNS. Within Kantar in Paris, he carried out brand market research, on top automotive and FMCG brands providing periodic performance presentations. He tracked KPIs such as awareness, equity scores, competitive mapping and delivered key insights and market drivers to the client.

His previous work experiences in India include working for a 2-wheeler automotive OEM Royal Enfield and auto parts manufacturer TVS Sundram Fasteners.

Finally, Vijay immensely loves to drive motorcycles and he aspires to take part in a pan-European tour in a Ducati Multistrada.

Vijay is fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi and has an elementary level in French
