A transportation and environmental engineer, Nina Neubauer has studied in Germany, France and Sweden.
She has become an expert in the domain of Traffic Data Collection, Traffic Management, Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) and Electronic Toll Collection (ETC), gaining experience from companies such as AXA Partners, Bain Capital, Advent International, Baumarc Project, Vodasun Energie.
She has completed research projects related to traffic management and automation:
• For the AVL Motor Test Center AB in Gothenburg, she implemented a path-planning algorithm for automated vehicles using MATLAB;
• Within the Technical University of Munich, she conducted an analysis of the data collected from bluetooth sensors and induction loops on road segments in Bavaria;
• She evaluated state-of-the-art methods for the extraction of vehicle trajectories from video data, a project led by the Technical University of Munich.
For a global roadside assistance operator, she recently built a market forecast of 7 connected car services markets in Europe. This enabled the operator to investigate a next generation services strategy. For a private equity firm, within the framework of a due diligence project, Nina conducted market research on the European electronic tolling market with a specific focus on global business and regulatory trends.
Nina is fluent in German, English and has a good command of French.
