Matthieu has gained 5 years of experience in the automotive industry in technical, strategy, marketing and business development including 4 years in consulting positions.
He assists all leading players in the field in designing effective strategies and value propositions and in launching these. He understands the business and strategic implications of new technologies in the mobility eco-system and can adapt quickly to new industries and situations.
He has gained strong expertise in telematics, Usage-based Insurance (UBI) and fleet management and vehicle OBD data analytics for numerous applications such as vehicle diagnostics and driving behaviour. He also recently contributed in the publications of the UBI Global Study and the Electronic Tolling Collection Global Study and regularly speaks at conferences.
Before PTOLEMUS, Matthieu was consultant with 7M Consulting, a French strategic consulting firm specialised in the automotive industry. He contributed to many strategic assignment for major automotive manufacturers in Europe. Previously, he was junior consultant with Deloitte Consulting, within the Industry Strategy & Operation branch.
Matthieu also acquired automotive engineering expertise from his experience as a design engineer with Cummins Ltd. in the United Kingdom on the development of diesel engines for a Chinese automotive supplier.
Matthieu holds a Master degree in Automotive Engineering and Project Management from ESTACA, Paris and a Specialised Master of Marketing from HEC School of Management, Paris.
