John Craig

Associate Partner, Munich 

John Craig is an Associate Partner with expertise in the field of mobile, location and automotive.

He has over 25 years of experience in these industries, in senior product management, marketing and business development roles, and has lived and worked in the UK, France, Germany and Sweden.

Prior to PTOLEMUS, he spent 14-years with Ericsson at the forefront of establishing GSM/GPRS/UMTS as the undisputed global cellular standard.

Subsequently he spent 10 years working in the broad field of ‘location’, with specific multi-year experiences in positioning technologies, GPS navigation and geo-content, and 3D mapping for the automotive industry.

John Craig holds an Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
